WHY WE EXIST

When we invent, innovate, and create with greater equality, dignity and accessibility in mind we develop better products, services, spaces and experiences for everybody.

It's called the Curb-Cut Effect.

Our mission is to support businesses in creating solutions that are accessible for and inclusive of all people including those with

disabilities. Solutions that stimulate business growth, enhance customer loyalty, generate powerfully positive goodwill and improve profit.

WHO WE ARE

Our personal experience with disability makes us different.

We see people with disability taking their rightful place in a world of diversity. We know once businesses understand the opportunity that people with disability and their friends and familiy pose as customers they will include their needs in the design and delivery of exceptional products, services, spaces and experiences. Innovations that are better for everyone and competitively superior for businesses.

HOW IT WORKS

46% of complaints lodged with the Australian Human Rights Commission are against businesses and related to disability.

The Disability Discrimination Act requires that places used by the public must be accessible to people with a disability. It applies to existing places as well as places under construction. The Act also makes it unlawful to discriminate in the provision of goods and services of all kinds.

When most business owners learn of their obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act their mind jumps instantly to Risk Management and the expenses side of the P&L.

But there’s a sweet spot where business growth and access & inclusion overlap. A spot where business innovation and accessibility connect.

BUSINESS

GROWTH

ACCESS &

INCLUSION

We support businesses in finding the sweet spot in their business where business growth and access & inclusion overlap to create solutions that are accessible.  Solutions such as exceptional products, services,

spaces  and experiences that stimulate business growth, enhance customer loyalty, generate powerfully positive goodwill and improve profit. While also meeting, indeed exceeding, obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act.
